Norton Security Suite - What does it mean if Norton Internet Security doesn't come up at all?

What does it mean if Norton Internet Security doesn't come up at all?

There's a Norton Internet Security icon on the desktop bar at the bottome with a red 'x' in front of it. When I click on any icon or button to Norton Internet Security, it doesn't open, and when it does, it's like a blank gray square. I went to my Security Center and tried to turn it on, but the same thing happened. Please help!

You accidently turned the product off...or one of the settings for the Norton Anti-Virus is not turned on...I had Norton 2008 and 2009 awhile back and it only puts an red X when the pc security is in jepordy..like the firewall being turned off or the updates are turned off..the best thing to do is get a hold of Norton at the website they have a technician available 24 hrs a day to help with any problems.. they helped me when an error code kept poping up..they actually will log on to your computer and fix whatever the problem may be...feel free to e-mail me...I am quite familiar with the 2008 and 2009 versions...I had em both for years before i finaly got something bettter..
