How can I install norton internet security 2009?

Every time I try to install norton my computer keeps freezing.As soon as I click on install norton internet security, it takes me to a " IBM think pad ultranav driver installation".After I install this my computer freezes. I have a IBM Thinkpad.

1. This happened to me to. I went to the Norton site and found live online tech support and after a few minutes they were working on it without me doing anything and had it installed successfully in like an hour.
2. Do it in safe mode.Restart your computer.Then press F8.
