What is the difference between Norton AntiVirus and Norton Internet Security?
Which one is more practical? I am looking for a package that I will be able to install on our 3 computers.....for under $50.00 hopefully. I have been looking on eBay and found some Norton software fairly cheap, but I don't know the difference between Norton Antivirus and Norton Internet Security.

Basically NAV only includes virus & spyware protection while NIS includes overall protection (the most addition being a firewall). There are also 100% free alternatives for computer security: Free Anti-Virus: AVG Free Edition---->http://free.avg.com Avira AntiVir Personal---->http://www.free-av.com Free Firewalls: Comodo Personal--->http://www.comodo.com/products/free_products.html Online Armour Free---->http://www.tallemu.com Free Anti-Spyware/Malware: SuperAntiSpyware---->http://www.superantispyware.com Malwarebytes Anti-Malware----->http://www.malwarebytes.org Javacool's SpywareBlaster---->http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
- The main difference is that Norton Internet Security offers more extra protection than Norton AntiVirus like having a firewall and spyware protection. It is best to get internet security but both will give you enough basic protection.
