Is it safe to let CCleaner clean my Symantec Antivirus stuff?

On the cleaner checklist under Utilities, it has Symantec and after analysis it says 968mb to be removed, but I have a virus contained by Symantec in quarantine. Is it okay to let it clear out this stuff? I really need the space because I only have 500mb left on my hard drive...

1. Clear it out. And CCleaner is worthless.
2. Yes, Ccleaner is very good. Delete everything that is in Quarantine. Then run Ccleaner.
