Norton Security Suite

Norton Antivirus Gaming Edition or Norton Internet Security 2009?

I want to purchase a norton security suite for my notebook, and I wondering which product among these two is for me? -I'm a gamer, but I surf to the internet everyday too. -I want a faster boot up speed security suite, light footprint. -won't slow down my laptop (e.g - open firefox / open application, etc..) or.. what your opinion among these two product? Thank you.

1. NO Norton! Never it slows your pc down go with avast or avg
2. Gaming edition, also firefox is heavy on resources sometimes google chrome is quicker and lighter. You could try Zonealarm Internet Suite i use it and it has Kasperskys virus scan engine which has won awards and it has a gaming mode
3. I'm sorry, Norton has almost NEVER been the AV of choice, ESPECIALLY FOR GAMING! Your best options for a lightweight AV, are AVG 8.5 (my favorite) with a gaming mode, and Kaspersky internet suite. I forgive you for considering Norton :D
4. you'll get better responses in the symantec forums from people who actually know. nis 09 has silent mode for gaming . Try the free trials and make your own decission.
