1. Norton are legendary for producing invasive, resource hungry apps that slow your pc down and are very difficult to remove when you finally see the light! Zone alarm is by far the better choice.
2. neither use Kaspersky, bitdefender or Eset

ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite is the best.... regularly wins awards from computer magazine tests + WHICH? magazine test reports of Security products (and I recall reading somewhere that ZoneAlarm get the anti-virus part of it from Kaspersky). Norton products on the other hand, well............ this summer is the 10th Anniversary of me buying my first ever PC. During these 10yrs I've read many computer magazines Q&A sections + even more online computer help websites...... I've lost count the number of times while reading these Q&A's that the thing causing the problem was a NORTON security product either hogging system resources or causing software conflicts, or doing something else that was the root cause of the computer problem that had the person writing in baffled.
