Can I use Symantec Enpoint Protrction security from my school?

My school gives me Symantec Enpoint Protection v11 for free. To get the latest versions I just go to their download page. The problem is I don't even go to that school anymore lol! The download page doesn't ask for anything it just downloads. So the security is unmanaged by a sever. I manage it. So it's valid and all and still updates through symantec. If I keep using it will it continue working and catching viruses?

1. symantec sucks. get avast free edition from cnet.com and be sure to config. all the settings for each scan type
2. It may keep working. Depending on your school's license however, your license to use the program probably ended when you left the school. So Symantec could discontinue supporting it to you.
