What does it mean when my antivirus software has expired?
I guess I had a free trial of antivirus software when I got it 6 months ago, now its expired. Does this mean I have to pay monthly for the program?

- Yes.
- It means you can't use it anymore! that's it Try this site
- yes, u must buy another subscription
- you will have to renew it for a year so you can continue to get new virus definitions and upgrades. it's very important to keep it up to date
- not exactly. You can download a free program like avg free... which does work.. or you can pay fr one for the free one the website is http://free.avg.com/us-en/homepage
- yep. try superantispyware its free and avg virus its free both excellent....
- Depends on what program you're using. Norton? McAfee? Kaspersky? If it's one of the first two, get rid of it and download Avira (Avira is BASICALLY the free version of McAfee. They made the virus scanning software McAfee uses, and is just as effective; Norton is a resource hog.) If it's Kaspersky, some people like it, some people don't. If you don't have the money to keep it, delete it and again, get Avira.
