the Norton Security suite subscription.....Question...what exactly expires?

What features will expire? just the Anti Virus definitions? will the firewall, anti spam, still work? Or will it shut down completely? I seem to remember some of the features still worked, except for the AV. It's not me, it's for someone else. thanks much ! I'm referring to the norton security suite that some new computers come with......

well i don,t know but i do know that if you run windows recovery before the 60 days is over you get another 60 days free..wink,wink...
yeah it wont update anymore so its basically useless .. not that it was ever useful in the first place .. theres many freeware apps that are just as good and less system resource hogging ...
when it expires everything will still work but you won't be able to get updates just remember an anti virus much more than two months out of date is practically useless
The programs (Firewall, anti spam, blah blah blah) will still work and protect you. But you will NOT get new virus defs or program updates. Time to renew. BTW, Norton is a huge resource hog, there are many freewares (like AVG) that seem to be fine.
