Do i need a antivirus software and a firewall software?

I have an antivirus+antispyware software. On youtube i saw this firewall software that you can download for free call comodo firewall. Do i need a firewall software aswell?

The Comodo Internet Security firewall is much better than the default one that is included in your operating system.Mind you,this program also includes an anti-virus and two anti-virus programs can crash your PC.When installing,only install the firewall and not the anti-virus.After it is installed,go into the Control Panel,then into the Security Center,then into the Firewall settings and disable the Windows firewall. ZoneAlarm is another very good,free firewall too.
2. Nope because if I remember well when I was still using it (it was very heavy on my PC and slowing seriously my Internet connection, I use Avast since very happily), it was providing for it.

Anti-viruses are great when dealing with programs running or trying to run on your machine, and with scanning email as it comes in and goes out, but a firewall protects your computer at the Internet level. It prevents certain kinds of Internet hacks (sent by hackers) from getting a toehold on your machine or even finding out that your IP address is there at all. Windows has come with a so-so firewall ever since Windows XP. It's better than nothing, and it has gotten better over the years, but a decent firewall, by Comodo, ZoneAlarm, Norton/Symantec or McAfee will do more for you. Hope that helps.
