Norton Security Suite Blocking Media Sharing?

i downloaded The Norton Security Suite from Comcast.net, and it is blocking me from sharing media/movies from my WMP11 to my xbox 360, i turned off the firewall and it worked perfectly fine, idk if i have to open any ports but if i do what ones? and how?

1. Open the Norton main window Hover over PC Security and select Manage Firewall Scroll through the list and find Windows Media Player 11 Change the access setting to allow. Click apply and your done.
2. Get rid of Norton, and install the free AVG security.
