Norton Security Suite

Why cant I have spybot with norton security suite?

I have just downloaded the norton protection (antivirus/firewall) from yahoo and it made me uninstall spybot search and destroy first. I tried to reload it and it said incompatible with your current level of security. I thought spybot was very good and wanted it back on my computer. Does anyone know if the norton protection is good and can I get round this somehow?

1. You can only have one since they both are looking 4 the samestuff. I would personally go with norton

5. From a Personal point of view - DITCH Norton - it is useless. It hogs resources - does not pick up half of what they claim. A recent test by a PC Magazine found that Norton & McAfee were the worst performing software out of the one's they tested. So bad, they cam BOTTOM of the pile - the FREE versions of AVG, AVAST, SpyBot and CCleaner beat them hands down. So worried were the CEO's of McAfee and Norton that they PROMISED to resolve the issues within weeks - and HAVEN'T. Run the following side by side without problems. 6. I think that antivirus software includes Anti-Spyware because i had McAfee and it had antispyware installed

9. i think Norton is rubbish i had to have windows xp unloaded and loded back because norton let so many viruses in and got bullguard anti virus repair cost £80.00
10. spybot is an unnecessary piece of junk that is not needed with Norton. Norton has anti-virus firewall and spyware all built in. Spybot only gets 40% of spyware off your computer. Why do you think it's free?
11. well spybot is good software but both spybot and one part of norton security suite do the same job and if you let them both to work at the same time it will hang your computer. spybot is free and it's popular, but it's not some magical tool and it's not the best you can find. it actually erases some of competitor software and it updates not as often as a great anti spyware shoud.
