With Microsoft Vista O/S, and A Norton Security Suite, I'm having trouble closing programs. How do I fix?

Additional Data: Hard drive -160 GB free; Recovery disk- 7.4 MB Free; Computer Subscores: Calculations per second 4.9; Memory 3.9; Graphics 2.5 Gaming Graphics 3.0 Primary Hard Disk 5.5 I am finding that the computer "locks up" frequently when I am trying to close many programs, including Yahoo Mail. This did not happen for the first year that I owned the computer . I have high speed internet provided by WOW Cable, and use Internet Explorer as a Browser. I noticed that the problem surfaced a while after installing, via download, a suite of Norton Secvurity features, including anti-virus, anti-spyware, and a firewall. My HP performance evaluator tells me regularly that my firewall, anti-spyware, and anti-virus programs are running. Thank you for your help, as I frequently have to start the Vista "Task Manager" to unfreeze the computer. Thanks again! cordially, Dennis

  1. vista is bad and buggy - 90% OF STUFF DOESN'T WORK WITH IT use linux or mac
  2. Change back to Windows 95.
