Norton Security Suite

is norton 360 3.0 a good security suite to have on my computer and could i use another security suite with it?

i am asking this question because i have norton 360 3.0 and i am also planning to use system mechanic security essentials with it. should i get the iolo security or not?

1. You generally should not use competing security programs. They likely will conflict with each other. Personally I think 360 is overkill and if the computer is not one with the most memory and speed it reportedly slows things down. Norton Internet Security is a little less invasive and has worked ok for me. I do use Adaware from www.lavasoft.com to remove adware that NIS does not bother with.
2. Is it good, no. Can you use more than one av product yes. I would perfer to use one that works but sure go ahead.
3. Hi You can use second security software in your computer along with Norton 360 v3.0. But the Norton 360 is a all in one security and you told that you are going to use "system mechanic " which is not a security software and it is simply a error fixing program of your operating system and registry. But it is not recommend to use thes programs as more than one security program might make your computer slow, also if you really want to use these kind of error fixing program then you can go for "Norton System works or Norton utilties" which is compatible and error less with Norton. More over Norton 360 have many features of error fixing in your operating system I will not recommend to make your operating system to be more complex and slow by too many securties Good luck
