Do i have to install Symantec pcAnywhere on both computers before I can use the sofware?

I recently posted about how I needed to access my fathers computer in another state and came across Symantec pcAnywhere. Do i need to install the software on both computers before I can use it or only on my computer?

1. I have checked your question from the web site at Symantec http://www.symantec.com/norton/symantec-pcanywhere and find out this bit: "Both host and remote components can be installed together on the same computer or separately on different computers." Looks like both alternartives are available
2. Hi, If you are using through Internet use "Team viewer". It is the best and free program that you can download it from "www.teamviewer.com/download/index.aspx". Both the computer needs to run the latest version and irrespective which country / State you can access through Internet. Good Luck, JA
