- Get avast.
- Mcaffe - think thats how you spell it. Amazing security so much better than AVG worth getting
- avira is way better than that avg..
- Get the normal avg trail then use a keygen. If you don't want to download the kg just google 'avg keys'
- https://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/ This is free and very good.
- I was going to say AVG, but it looks like you have it already. I downloaded and installed AVG for my new installation of Windows 7 at the suggestion of the guys at the help desk where I work.
- See below for free antivirus software- http://doubler59.blogspot.com/2009/10/antivirus-software-downloads.html
- anti vir works fine for me
- I suggest you to use NOD 32. Its good.
- For a different av look at pandascans could offering... http://www.cloudantivirus.com/en/
- The free stuff usually isn't all that good, but Spybot search and destroy seems to be good along with Avast. Spyware blaster is quite handy and also Windows Defender and Ad-aware se. If your interested in buying security, your best off with Norton or Kaspersky. Never get Mc Afee it's over rated.
- See Anti-Virus Comparison at http://www.av-comparatives.org/
- The best anti-virus is Kaspersky or Norton but they are not free. Kaspersky does offer a free online scan but it doesn't remove what it finds. Second best free are Avast and AVG and others. The Microsoft firewall that comes free with XP and Vista is quite good but unfortunately provides no visibility. If you need visibility, try the free Zone Alarm. Zone Alarm is very good but it is difficult for me to say it is the best. The best firewalls are not free. You have phishing filters in Firefox 3 and IE 7 and IE 8 (Smart Screen Filter) and AVG. It's strictly a question of how often the phishing filter database gets updated with accurate information. It's tough to say which is best.
- AVIRA or AVAST. AVG is crap, as it has no rootkit protection in free version. That is like leaving your doors open for some parasites.
