What happens to these programs when I do Dell PC Restore by Symantec?

I am going to do a Dell PC Restore by Symantec on my laptop but want to know if i do this am i going to have to go buy new windows XP, and Mircrosoft word? Do i need to buy anything new?

1. The Windows XP will be fine (don't worry about it). Now the Microsoft Word is a little different. If it came installed with the computer then, yes, go ahead. If you bought it separately it might, or might not be on there. Either way, if you still have the CD and the CD key you can reinstall it when the PC Restore is done.
